Sara started mazaq in Thamesmead Greenwich in 2014 selling cakes and treats to friends and neighbours. Mazaq also has been providing catering services to HEJ coffee in Bermondsey since early 2015. 

Mazaq prides itself on the exquisite attention to the taste of each of its products and making sure each that they look as good as they taste (mazaq in arabic). Mazaq prides itself in ensuring that every product is meticulously well presented and delicious to the last crumb.

Sara runs all aspects of Mazaq drawing on her deep passion in cooking and baking from a very young age together with her Egyptian background. Not to mention that her uncle is Dubai's and the middle-east's most famous and decorated master chef Tarek Ibrahim.

Mazaq now produces mouthwatering cakes and pastries using a fusion of French, British and Middle-eastern recipes. Combining fresh ingredients and innovative recipes, together with passion and commitment gives mazaq’s products their unique taste and appearance that will let you savour the flavours.
